We are so glad you are interested in joining our team. A few things to note before sending your submission:
- This is a family friendly site. By that we mean: though we do accept romances, we do not accept erotica. We understand there is a market for erotica, but at Amarlenn Arts Publishing we prefer PG rated romances. Thank you for understanding.
- We are an English-speaking group based in the United States. Therefore, we are not accepting submissions in languages other than English. We are simply not equipped for translations at this time.
- We are currently accepting applications for authors who are committed to doing their best work. If you have other skills to bring to the table, you may list them on the application.
- We are looking for trusted support team members who are recommended by our authors. These would include artists, digital creators, editors, musicians, and website designers that are known and trusted by our authors. We aim to build a scam free zone for our mutual support.
What We Are, and What We Are Not
We are a community of creatives who want to see others succeed in this market of self-publishing. We believe in helping one another, building strong connections, and collaborating together to make our work better. As the saying goes, we are stronger together.
We are not a vanity publishing house. We do not want a piece of your royalties. Nor do we want payment from you in exchange for your inclusion on our site. In addition, we will not do the advertising and marketing for you. We are here to help you learn to do those things for yourself.
When you join Amarlenn Arts Publishing, you receive the following benefits and agree to the following obligations.
Benefits of Membership:
- Inclusion as an author on Amarlenn Arts Publishing with a short listing on our About page. Plus, a page on our site dedicated to you and your work.
- Use of the Amarlenn Arts Publishing logo and name on your future books as long as you maintain your obligations.
- The right to author articles on this site’s blog in keeping with the focus of the Amarlenn Arts Publishing brand – anything pertaining to the writing, publishing, marketing, and promotion of independent author works.
- When you keep us informed of your book’s release date and launch events, we will celebrate with you in the blog.
- Work with fellow authors and support team members in collaborative efforts to gain a wider audience for your works.
- Participate in group events designed to promote our authors and grow our collective readership.
- Authors on our team may recommend support team members they have worked with and trust to be added to the list.
Obligations of Membership:
- Always do your best work so we protect the integrity of the Amarlenn Arts Publishing brand. Be humble, that is willing to learn and receive constructive criticism. When we are committed to do our best work and willing to be humble, we will continue to grow better in our craft.
- Write for our blog at least once per month. You will always be credited for the articles you write because you will be an author for the site rather than just a subscriber. All submissions for the blog must be approved by our admin and editor before they will be live on the site. They will be checking for any accidental mistakes, and Yoast SEO scores.
