Mission Statement:
Amarlenn Arts Publishing is dedicated to providing assistance with publishing, marketing, and promotion through education, collaboration, and meaningful connections.
Our community includes authors and author support members who help one another succeed in this publishing journey.
Membership in our community has seven benefits and comes with two expectations which are discussed further along in this article. As a community, we are dedicated to supporting our fellow creators.
A Proud Tradition
We began our journey in 2012 as an academy for a unique student body. As fans of Tolkien’s “Lord of the Rings Trilogy”, we took great pride in choosing the name Amarlenn Arts Academy. The word “amarlenn” comes from two Elvish words – amar, meaning home and lenn, meaning journey. Our K-12 academy was dedicated to supporting students in both their artistic and educational pursuits.
The academy produced well rounded, productive citizens who continue to excel in their chosen endeavors. The academy has closed its doors since the last student graduated in December of 2017. When it came time to decide upon a publishing name, we were naturally drawn back to the name Amarlenn Arts. It seemed only fitting to continue with the name that suited us so well over the years.
Meet Our Creative Team
To be listed here, the team member must have entered into an agreement with Amarlenn Arts Publishing. When they have completed this introductory process, they are granted the necessary permissions, and given a page dedicated to their work on this website.
Marian Wilkinson, administrator
Marian Wilkinson is the acting administrator for the website as well as an active member of the editing team.

Mary Miller, editing assistant
Mary is a voracious reader with an appreciation for grammar and spelling. If there is a mistake in the manuscript, she will find it. She is a member of our editing staff.

Anita Ayres is an indie author who writes for children, teens, and the young at heart. She is based in the Southeast United States.

Mick Ayres is a prolific technical writer and multi-talented performer. As a ‘Taleswapper, Tunesmith, & Trickster,’ Mick is a storyteller who uses music and magic to enhance his stories. He is based in the Southeast United States.

- Written permission to use the Amarlenn Arts Publishing logo and name on your future books as long as you maintain your obligations.
- The right to author articles on this site’s blog in keeping with the focus of the Amarlenn Arts Publishing brand – anything pertaining to the writing, publishing, marketing, and promotion of independent author works.
- We will celebrate you in the blog when you keep us informed of your book’s release date and launch events.
- The opportunity to work with fellow authors and support team in collaborative efforts and projects to gain a wider audience for your works.
- Participate in group events designed to promote our authors and grow our collective readership.
- Authors on our team are encouraged to recommend support team members they have worked with and trust to be added to the list.
Obligations of Membership:
- Always do your best work so we protect the integrity of the Amarlenn Arts Publishing brand. Be humble, that is willing to learn and receive constructive criticism. When we are committed to do our best work and willing to be humble, we will continue to grow better in our craft.
- Write for our blog at least once per month. You will always be credited for the articles you write because you will be an author for the site rather than just a subscriber.
